What is fst?

  • It’s a method of assisted stretching, where I work hands-on to move your body through shapes and maneuvers meant to target your connective tissues and joints. Through traction we create space within the body, then I apply techniques which target specific movement restrictions you may be facing to ultimately restore awareness and flow into these areas of tension. We use mindful breathing, oscillating and rhythmic movements to shift the tone of the nervous system from reactive to receptive to relaxed.

  • I get asked all the time “I’m not flexible at all, can I still do FST?” YES!!! FST is for everyone! Fascial Stretch Therapy works within your range of ability, I tailor each session to your unique anatomy, providing a singular, YOU-focused experienced.

  • This is a fully clothed treatment. I recommend stretchy materials that fit closer to the body and light layers.

    No thank you’s: billowy/excessive fabrics, jeans/rigid materials, shirtless men.

About me

Hi! I’m Gabrielle, yogi and stretch therapy practitioner living and working in the beautiful South Okanagan of British Columbia.

Yoga and meditation drew me in from a young age, allowing me to connect to something beyond myself. As I grew and developed my personal practice I felt a tug to deepen my knowledge, leading me to join a teacher training in 2021 in the lineage of Hatha Yoga.

I’ve now led hundreds of group classes across and in that time my curiosity grew into a craving for deeper understanding of how our unique experiences shape our bodies and how intentional movement can set us free.

I am trained in the Stretch to Win method of Fascial Stretch Therapy. A science based, trauma-informed program which works in both the Myofascia (muscle) and Neurofasca (nervous system). Through this work I help individuals release stored density and create space for optimized movement and freedom in their connective tissues.
